Since 1998, MIDBO has been the only annual event that specializes in documentaries and one of the most important events in Latin America. Originally an initiative of the Colombian Ministry of Culture, it sets the bar for circulating documentaries produced in Colombia. It is also a space in which citizens have the opportunity to experience material that reaches beyond the limitations of commercial film and television.
